In this historic moment, where, due to the health emergency, citizens’ movements are limited and public and private services inevitably suffer from inconvenience due to the precautions taken to contain the spread of the virus, the Ater of Venice, like many other entities and companies in the national territory, to avoid gatherings and limit the flow of citizens to the offices, have chosen the Housing Plus App which will give valid support for the containment of the risks associated with Covid-19 and to increase the efficiency of the structure.
The App, created by Tecnosys Italia, a company from Enna, specialized in the development of software for the Public Administration, allows citizens to no longer make endless queues at the offices, to book their appointment and to be able to manage other functions, directly from smartphone or tablet, without the need to go to the institution.
In the specific case of Public Residential Building Entities, through this App, which can be downloaded free of charge from the Play Store and App Store, it is possible to manage, for example, maintenance requests and transfers, query one’s accounting position updated in real time, verify any arrears, communicate with the Entity, send documents, etc.
President Speranzon of Ater di Venezia commented in the local press – “We have decided to invest in this innovative project which will simplify the life of our tenants … Let’s think, for example, of those who have mobility problems and difficulties in going to the Urp . It is a targeted technological choice, designed and developed for the Public Residential Building Company which will be a strong point in making services more efficient”.
Also in the same article we read – The application for mobile phones was created by the specialized company Tecnosys Italia, and thanks to its use it will also be possible to streamline the workload of Ater operators, in particular those of the User Office. –
Tonino Palma, President of Tecnosys Italia in this regard declares – “We are very satisfied with the response that our latest application is getting, the result of the commitment and continuous propensity of our company towards technological innovation and towards the creation of new tools, useful for improving the relationship between citizens and the Public Administration.” – He also adds – “The curious thing is that one of our first customers was in Veneto and also in that circumstance we were quoted by the local press, but that time the tenor was completely different, that is, surprise and disbelief prevailed in the article for the fact that a public body in the Veneto region had selected a Sicilian company for its computerisation. After years of consolidating relationships and numerous projects carried out in Vicenza, Padua, Verona, Treviso, Belluno, Rovigo, Castelfranco Veneto and Venice, the situation has reversed and today we receive signs of esteem and trust to our great satisfaction. For this, I would like to thank all our staff, who have worked hard despite the difficulties caused by this particular historical moment, as well as all those who have believed and continue to believe in us and give us, day after day, the opportunity to showcase our talents and capabilities.”
Moreover Tonino Palma, with the occasion, announces the launch of a new initiative for the territory – “We have proposed to the Municipality of Enna to make itself available, as the first body at national level, to launch a pilot project, which starting from the App already implemented and through the implementation of new functions, it will make it possible to manage appointments with citizens in a completely new way, i.e. through a video conference system within the App and to be able to make reports at any time, by citizens, which will be automatically forwarded to the competent offices, such as for example breakdowns, accidents, damage to the road surface, requests for intervention also in the social-health sector, etc. This makes it possible to reduce the times and distances between citizens and the Public Administration, improving and optimizing the methods of providing services. We also plan to expand this project, extending it to the sector of local businesses and professionals who could thus benefit from new technologies to prevent risks of contagion and improve their efficiency”.
