The project falls within the scope of Energy, Smart Buildings, Microgrids, Positive Energy Districts, Energy Communities, Sustainable Mobility, and Innovative Transport, in line with the S3 strategy of the Sicilian Region. The initiative involves the development of two main applications through research and development activities.

The first application, SMART ENERGY – Software Suite for Building Automation and Energy Saving, involves the creation of a company laboratory dedicated to testing innovative solutions for building automation, IoT, and artificial intelligence applied to energy efficiency.

The second application, CITY PASS, addresses the issue of sustainable and social mobility, providing a digital solution for the unified management of access permits to Limited Traffic Zones (ZTL) for people with disabilities, taxi drivers, and freight transporters.

In the field of Facility Management, the project includes the development of apps for interactive maintenance management using QR codes, geolocation, and two-way communication systems.
